What I Offer
-
Individual therapy gives you a private, judgment-free place to talk about your thoughts and feelings. With a licensed therapist, you’ll identify what’s causing distress, learn practical ways to manage symptoms, and build skills for better relationships, self-esteem, and daily life. Therapy is tailored to your goals—whether for anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, or personal growth. Together we’ll make a plan that helps you grow stronger and make lasting changes at a pace that feels right.
-
Mental health consultation gives practical, tailored help for people, families, and organizations facing emotional, behavioral, or relationship issues. I assess your situation, offer clear strategies and recommendations, and help you make a plan—whether you need short-term support, help through a transition, or ongoing wellness guidance. I work with you to set goals, use your strengths, and create simple, doable steps that match your values. Consultations are confidential, compassionate, and personalized.
-
I’m an LPCC and Board‑Approved Supervisor offering confidential, ongoing clinical supervision to help you grow with confidence and kindness.
Our supervision is a collaborative, reflective partnership. In regular sessions we’ll:
review cases and troubleshoot clinical problems
give practical, teachable feedback on assessments and treatment plans
clarify ethical and boundary issues (informed consent, dual relationships, etc.)
strengthen documentation and risk‑assessment skills
build culturally responsive interventions to improve multicultural competence
If you’re preparing for licensure or planning your career, I’ll help set concrete milestones and give targeted guidance. We’ll also focus on realistic self‑care and burnout prevention that fits your life and caseload.
Supervision with me boosts accountability, sharpens clinical judgment, and builds the confidence to provide effective, compassionate care while supporting your professional growth.

Kindred Grit Therapeutic Services provides customizable training for clinicians, school teams, and community organizations to strengthen clinical knowledge and supports. Trainings can cover trauma-informed care for recognizing and treating trauma and creating safety and stabilization; practical strategies for integrating mental health services in schools, collaborating with educators, and responding to crises; therapeutic language and co-regulation skills that use strength-based, nonpathologizing approaches to calm and connect with children, adolescents, and families; cultural competency and antiracism practices that reduce bias, center cultural humility, and honor diverse identities; and helping staff cope with secondary traumatic stress in agencies. All sessions emphasize practical tools, case-based learning, and implementation-ready strategies.
I offer a range of services to meet various needs. Please see my “FAQ” section for service costs here.
What You Can Expect
Non-Directive, Person-Centered Approach
In non‑directive, person‑centered therapy you lead while I offer a warm, nonjudgmental presence—listening, reflecting, and helping you clarify what matters. This respects your pace and builds self‑understanding and confidence so you can make choices that feel right. The result is a supportive partnership where your voice guides lasting change.
Clear, Relatable Language
I maintain use of simple, everyday language in therapy so it feels human. Your thoughts, questions, and choices matter. We explain things clearly, ask for your input, and decide together so nothing is hidden or surprising. That openness builds trust, makes therapy more practical day to day, and respects you as an active partner in your healing.
Strengths-Based Perspective
I use a strengths-based perspective in therapy to build on what’s already working, staying flexible and responsive so the process fits your flow, not the other way around. Together we’ll amplify your resilience, honor your pace, and shape a path that feels doable and true to you.
Collaborative Relationship
When we work together, we build a trusted solution. Your experiences and goals guide our care, and our expertise shapes a practical plan. We listen, follow through, and stay accountable so the support fits your life and helps. You get a thoughtful, compassionate approach made for you—not an off-the-shelf fix.
